At Edmonton’s Canadian Tire, Hunter Equipment keeps techs on top

When purchasing equipment, says Mike Slanisky of Canadian Tire in Edmonton, there’s one “us,” and then another “us.” One of these is more important than the other.
“Our investment in equipment isn’t what it’s going to do for us the business, but what it’s going to do for us as a team,” he says.
That’s why productive Hunter Engineering equipment has been such a great fit, because “it’s a way to keep techs busy and happy,” Slanisky says. Adding an additional alignment per day for each technician at the end of the year is a “game-changer.”
And like the techs, the equipment shows up every day ready for work. “Our guys here put the equipment through the wringer,” Slanisky says, “but we haven’t found anything that holds up like Hunter.”

Did setting metric units
I see it works really well on modern low profile tires, will it also be similarly effective with higher profile truck tires, like say a common 275 70 17? I haven't been able to find any videos showing it do anything but these sportier tire sizes.

That seems good, but you never inflated any of those tires? Industry standard says never EXCEED 40 PSI, lest see you guys seat the bead on some of those tires???????
How many price
consistently do alignment and it shows correctly on the machine, however does not match screen when it prints out...any suggestions
We could use a little more info on your procedure, but can assume this happened due to a caster adjustment? The last measurement screen you were on, before adjustments is the screen that prints.

@@justinweaver7553No, I have 2 defective tires and the distributor just approved for warranty on them. The Road Force did all it could to fix the issue but it can't fix defective tires. I had all the printouts for these 2 tires from different shops using Road Force balancers, which helped prove my point that the tires were defective. They couldn't argue when provided with the documents.

Just got one of these balancers at work. Had an old coats balancer before, it was about 10 years old and was on it's last leg. Had one of our regular customers come in today to get new tires put on and have them balanced. Not even an hour later he calls the office and tells us how much better the ride was with this balancer as opposed to the old one. Great piece of equipment right here
